A worker at the Maintenance Workshops happened to get a picture of a new arrival sneaking into the Engine Sheds today.
She came in after knock off and just before dusk, so hope we get as better viewing of her tomorrow.

Obviously a copy of the "Original", but it was found in dismantled state at the back of a warehouse that was being torn down. All the parts were loaded onto a truck, under the cover of darkness and hurriedly rushed to the Maintenance Workshops for refurbishing.
Years of rust and old paint was removed and a complete new re-paint was in order.
The push rods and pistons are so rusted and worn, they will have to be replaced by custom made items.
The driving wheels are useable (only just able to do the job) but are also beyond economical repair and will have to be replaced.
The traveling wheels for both the engine and the tender were in need of replacing but some were found, alas not the actual ones that were fitted originally, but they fit and work properly.
Until new driving wheels and pistons are found/custom made and fitted, she will be for Static display only.

Some pictures of her on her own and a few being "literally shunted" over the turntable.
