Photos of Steam and Diesel Specials & Heritage Lines
Have decided to do a new post on the above, as, in time, the Weather and Rails will be forgotten (Till the next major disruption of course) so I'll put them here. Over the next couple of weeks I'll gradually move things over, so they will all be in one place.Last edit: by 60019Bittern

They also revived some long lost memories of sitting on the top of that bridge ( with my grandfather holding on to me )as we watched all the action - especially the Kings and Castles pulling out of North Road with the Cornish Riveria Express. Normally with wheel slip as they put on the power near the now demolished signal station.
At they time my grandparents lived in Welbeck Ave and we lived in Green Park Ave.
Many Thanks
Dave

And those are the only 3 in steam Mick. :thumbs……………………………………………..Of the six in preservation I've managed to photograph 3 of them here in Devon or Cornwall. ………………………………………..
I was lucky enough to see all 6 lined up at Shildon for the "Great Goodbye" following the "Mallard 75" celebrations.
I think the two from "over the pond" have now gone back.
