Small station on the Devan & Summersett
The Gravel loader kit arrived today - now to get it built. Has a basic footprint of 9.5 x 11" & just over 10" high.![](https://yourmodelrailway.net/gallery/95/95_291917_080000000.jpg)
The price was very favourable obtaining it locally as compared to getting it direct from the USA.

And of course at my age, as you will find out yourself in due course ( next year for you ?) , if you can get somethings done by others, it allows you more time on other activities.

Did he weather it too?
Yes he did, I just need to add some ridge capping as the model is hard to get perfect at the top edge it seems.

No Peter, he has done a few for another local as well - he enjoys doing them. That looks great Ron and he's done a brilliant job on the weathering. Does he only do "commissions" for you ?:roll::roll:

So two Conflat wagons are being modified - first photo shows my previous standard version with just Kadee couplers added. It weighs 25 grams

Now a modified one- buffers removed, coupler pocket back further under the body, repainted a maroon red colour similar to EWS loco & hoppers & a box with lead underneath & lead shot inside that adds another 25 grams to give better running when pushing hoppers.

Now to modify the first one. I may even have a permanent link between the two wagons- saving some couplings.
