Station set on the North Norfolk coast.

So sorry to hear that Ron. Unfortunately, most solicitors are like cats .  .  .  they rarely do as you want!

Fingers crossed for a happy ending though.

Best wishes,

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Congratulations Ron……..this must be a big weight off your mind. There are many things I miss from the UK but property transactions is not one of them………it is a much more straight forward system here.

Good luck with the move!

Hi Ron.   Good luck in the future in your new home.
I am not Jealous, Envious, or any of the "Seven Deadly", You know what I mean. But I have been on the House Hunt for a long time Winter, Spring
And Summer. But it would seem that I am too fussy, when I say two bedrooms , I mean two bedrooms( one for the railway, not a box room?

Hi Ron

It has been a while since I was on here and it is a surprise to see you have moved but I'm happy to see it all worked out well.
When you come to building the new shed will it be the same size or have you managed to negotiate a slightly larger one?

I look forward to developments, in your own time of course as I know there are plenty of other things to do after a move.

Hi Ron.  I have seen many three bedroom houses, but they seem to be off the beaten track, two small bedrooms, or with a ground floor bathroom.
I don't want anyone to think I'm fussy but this is going to be a forever move, until I go "Feet First". Currently I have been looking in Kent.
    all the. best. Kevin

Hi Max.   I did, and I also thought about channel 4 Location, I went so far as completing the online questionnaire . But I am still waiting, maybe they only want couples, and I don't have a S.W .M B O. to come with me.

Hi all, still alive and kicking!!Started on a new shed base 12'x7' ready for a new shed arriving in a week or so.
I am going to alter the Weybourne set up from a through station to a terminus based on Sheringham station, also on the North Norfolk railway!

Shed base is built but not levelled or fixed down yet (had to stop and build some decking for SWMBO'd!!)

More news when the shed arrives!

Cheers

Hi Ron.   Well done keep up the good work , I don't do the "Seven Deadly Sins" Otherwise I would be jealous.             If ever I find a new home? I have seen many in my "Bracket", But they all seem to have a ground floor bathroom( and as one gets older it can be a PITA in the middle of the night) And I am still looking.I would like a shipping container of course it would need insulation and a shed roof to keep the neighbours happy?
all the best. Kevin

Well done on getting started, I too spent the weekend laying foundations for a shed. I suspect yours will be finished long before mine.

Will Sheringham, Be confined to the North Norfolk, or Stretch across the road to Network rail?

And if you model the car park will it be market day?

Now I've finally started a model railway…I've inherited another…

Maybe the odd DMU from network Rail!! I have already laid the trackwork as per Weybourne so no car park I'm afraid! The engine shed etc will be in that spot and the goods shed is fixed but I may move the road overbridge to a more 'Sheringham' location? All this will be decided when I move the layout into the new shed! xx

Cheers

Shed base finished using a new (to me!) method to level and secure the base using 18" spikes and 14 levelling plates!

As you can see the daylight disappeared in the last photo!
Hopefully the new shed arrives tomorrow along with gale force North winds!!!

Cheers
