Likewise……been there done that…..stripping stuff in minutes that took days to build…it's a very sad time

But I am definitely looking forward to Weybourne doing a Phoenix imitation ::lol:

Best wishes

At least all 4 boards survived intact and I hope I can place the original buildings/bridges in a similar position and patch up any broken bits! The plaster embankments have also survived intact, I just hope I can place them back without too much attention!!

Cheers

My very first fixed layout back in `88 or 89, needed to be removed for some work on the house, I got home from work to find my ex wife had made a start by removeing the track work with a hammer and chisel! needless to say I wasn,t best pleased, weeks of work and much expense ruined because A she thought it a waste of time and money and B she couldn,t wait, the 7 year itch didn,t come soon enough! the track and rolling stock that was rescued was sold on and I made a start in O gauge just to annoy her even more cos it cost more than OO, hah, I showed her .

Pete.

it was already on fire when I got here, honest!

All the best,

My sympathies to you,  with the solicitors, we were the cash buyers so allowing the chains to start moving in both our moves. But the solicitors did their best to cause maximum chaos both times.

Now I've finally started a model railway…I've inherited another…
