Hi Ron,

Great to see the photo's. It shows just how far you've come on in such a short space of time. Tackled everything head on. Excellent stuff.

Cheers

Hey …… You crafty so and so. You kept that quiet. I knew you were thinking about it but didn't realise that it was under way.

Come on then ……. Spill the beans ….. Details followed by new thread and pictures of progress ……. However minimal.

Love a new layout

link is here:  http://yourmodelrailway.net/view_topic.php?id=13750&forum_id=6#p247625

I have got the trackwork ready and at the moment I'm sticking the cork underlay down and getting some PL11 point motors from the Peterborough show tomorrow.

Track level shot particularly good!

Yard lights, telegraph poles, lineside fences, more stuff in the yard… rails, sleepers, spare signal and point rodding/wire… don't stop now… coming along nicely.

As I said earlier Ron excellent stuff , I hope your loads of stuff won't over do it. The elements that you have shown are what I would call " mature " in as much as I think ( opinion of course) that you have struck a great balance with what you've done.  Add to much and it could go to overkill.

I'm talking purely with reference to the  extent of the ground cover. It's bang on. Hope you don't mind me saying. Maybe a bit rich coming from someone who hasn't even attempted it yet.

I'm particularly interested in any thread that is at the ground cover stages at the moment as it's something that is high on my priorities. One of my fears is that I'll over do it. I think what you have produced is exactly how I'd like to replicate mine.

Keep up the good work Sir.

Owen, won't be too much as regards goods stuff as it's a preserved railway not a 'working' railway. When I last visited Weybourne in September there was very little in the way of goods, some wagons had fixed loads and a couple of containers were in the yard but that was all. I know Rule 1 applies so I will add some pallets, boxes etc and vehicles when I get to the 'front'..:)
Thanks Tom for your comments, I'm sure you'll do a great job!!:)

Cheers
Ron
