Station set on the North Norfolk coast.

Off now till Sunday, going to a large stargazing camp (700+ astronomers!) It's right next to Weybourne station so Saturday we'll be on the train, B1 'Mayflower' I think! Plenty of photo's and a trip to the beach thrown in!

See you all Sunday pm

There is a model shop on the main street in Sheringham (although catching it open is not easy), also at Holt there is a model railway at the station

Enjoy your trip Ron. Hope the weather is better than today's Majorcan offerings. It's belting it down here today.:mutley

Never mind …….. The brandy is just as good regardless.

Home on Saturday.

Oh… Nice work. Good on the station master for the guided tour.

People can be really nice.

When I told the manager at the Felin Fach milk factory that I was going to come half way around the globe to see his factory, he, and his people were most accommodating.

The fact that he forgot I was coming didn't matter as his office staff were all organised.

Is the wall card Ron, or something a bit more substantial.

My way of doing walls with no joins is to use plastic angle or plastic lipping, (like angle but more like an "L" with a very short base) 12mm gives a 6' wall in N gauge)   comes in 8' lengths from DIY stores, cover it with downloaded brick or stone paper printed onto A4 labels; for smaller sizes of angle, Plastruct do a good range of angle also other sections and tubes

Plastruct Sections

For a DIY bridge, 2 pieces of angle will support ply, balsa or card and the upright part acts as the wall
Small "V" cut out of the vertical bit so I could have an incline,

The join was later covered by adding buttresses, covering for this one was stone paper, the supports under the bridge were 5mm foam board again covered with stone paper. The road surface was from a fine grade belt sander roll painted with emulsion match pot, less joins, as long as it's a straight road. (very much a work in progress - not the finished article!)

If you need a longer/stronger bridge you could always use aluminium angle instead of plastic, for example a lightweight lift out/hinged across the doorway location
