Well, I gotta take my hat off to you Ron,

You've accomplished in a couple of months what it's taken me a couple of years to do although I did have a rather large false start.:mutley
Excellent, you must be over the moon with that result.

Great pictures and the Digitracks controller looks the B@ll@ck$.

I'll look forward to more pictures of the same please. Great result

Trouble is, I've spent more time playing (sorry operating!) than fixing track and soldering droppers!! Still that's what it's all about isn't it??

Got to tackle a bit of a problem today, when I set a rake of coaches on the main platform line they slowly ran down the line to the layout end!! It is only a very small gradient but enough to cause future problems I think with 'run-rounds' and shunting so!
I'm going to remove or slacken all the screws at the lower end and using a car-jack as support slowly lift that end. I will leave a rake of coaches on the line to check the gradient (and a spirit level!) then re-screw all the screws to the new height. I'm sure its only 5-6 mm but best do it now! Will update you later on!!

Cheers
Ron

PS; the electrics are working fine, just a few more droppers to do!

Seems to have done the trick, no more 'rolling' stock! Also got some storage space until I tackle the 'bridge'!!

(not sure why it's turned sideways!)

Or this one!!

How much did you have to lift it Ron ?

With modern rolling stock - metal wheels and fine bearings - the track has to be dead level if you want to leave the stock sitting there - unless of course, you want to build some "OO" scale brakes ………………:cheers

Could have made it a hump yard:mutley

Still, great idea to get it resolved by just easing the jack up a bit at a time.

It does indeed. I was given a new B set but when it worked on the branch an automatic uncoupling routine that had worked for years failed:sad: the Kadee shuffle still worked, the loco moved clear and the coaches gently rolled back an inch and  recoupled

So I put the old stock back and all was well

Good move getting that fixed Ron:thumbs

More info on the site:
Weybourne station is a mix and match site. The main station                       building, which was built in 1900 and opened in 1901, is  largely                      in its original form. Whilst the majority  of the station buildings                      on the M&GN were built  in a number of standard styles,                      Weybourne station  was unique. This may be because of the large                      hotel,  the 'Weybourne Springs Hotel' which was built nearby                       and in the same timescale. The hotel was a baroque building                       and was intended to cater for the 'upper class'. However it                       was never successful and was demolished in 1940.  The signal                      box at Weybourne was originally at Holt  whilst the waiting                      room on platform 1 is a faithful  replica of the original building,                      which stood in  this location. During the Second World War,                       Weybourne served the large Army camp which was on the site                       now occupied by the Muckleburgh collection.

The station was also used in a 'Dad's Army' episode called the Royal Train.

Two things today, ordered some points from Hatton's for the fiddle yard and a trip to the 'Range' to get glue, paint and card plus Polyfilla in order to start some scenics soon. Also spent the afternoon wiring the 'bridge' and running trains, although the A4 seems sick!! Hope Tom sorts his short out !!:)
