Well done a bit today but 2 problems reared up!
1. My Zimo sound Class 08 just stopped and caused a layout short and still is!!
2. After wiring up a Seep point motor to the DCC system, I found the motor doesn't work even directly of AC!!

Got a couple of trees made and started my timetables!

Probably did less than Tom today!!

Cheers
Ron

Got a new chair though!!

I'm sure that Paul will get you sorted out. It's a shame because the 08's sound great and expensive as well.

I've had a great day thanks. Finally got to where I needed to be. It's now time for the points to get sorted out and a bit track cleaning and loco programming. The points will be a tester but will be the icing on the cake to enable me to access all area's of the layout.

Keep us up to date with how the shunter works out.

Cheers

Been busy Hotel building tonight! Luckily the Superquick Hotel has a double roof so it was easy to just build the front half as a low relief building!

Original..

My version, but is it better on the RHS wall or against the back wall??

Decisions, decisions!! Of course it is not fully finished and there are other bits'n'pieces needed to complete the scene.

Comments welcomed?

Looks good Ron. I thought you were going to put it on the diagonal across the corner.

I thought you were going to cut it to fit into the corner at an angle.

I knew everybody would say that!! I am not that good a modeller and when I got the card model it was so obvious that I could manage to cut it in half without too much difficulty!! (It's my age you know!!)

I don't think you give yourself enough credit. I think you would have breezed it. Leave the lean too bit off and cut each end at 45 degrees job done.

However, you know what you are comfortable with and it still looks good anyway Ron. Iooking forward to what you are going to do around about it.

Cheers

I was just looking at the first lot of pictures when you posted Ron.

First picture looking up the embankment somehow looks 'right' to me, so B.

Space is tight though, maybe take the extension off the side to reduce the width of the building to give a bit more room around it?
