Station set on the North Norfolk coast.

Considering what you started with Ron, that is an impressive looking bit of banking!

Thanks Barney!
Next move I have in mind is to 'butcher' a Superquick Hotel model into a triangular shape and put it in the corner??

Cut to this base shape?

To fit in this corner?

Good idea??
Any other suggestions please?

Cheers
Ron

If that is the main road in front of the pub it doesn't look to me like there will be enough room, especially with it at an angle? Can you put the triangle base into the corner so we can see the size? I'm thinking a very thin low relief might be better?
I too like the idea of the scenic carriage yard/shed.
cheers

Can do Marty,

How's that Marty? The Hotel model is 200mm wide at the front and 85mm wide?

I think the corner hotel is a good one Ron , bit of a wall at the edge of the Banking , gateway leading in, bit of a parking area..you often see a hotel stood on its own like that. you could even do a low relief high stone wall coming off the two sides, against the back scene, with an arch through showing a bit of garden scene…to hint at gardens behind the hotel ?

Cheers

If you change the angle of the triangle so that the left side is longer than the right it would fit into the corner better.

So lengthen the left side and shorten the right, and then maybe follow Matt's suggestion regarding the high walling.

I'm with the lads, oblique rather than 45 will present a better angle (see what I did there, sheesh). Crack on.

Ordered the Superquick Hotel so sort that out when it arrives!
Bit more work tonight, partially built the carriage shed and decided to move the signal box from the bridge unit to the fiddle yard as I'm now adding some scenery there!!

Hi Ron,

I thought that the signal box looked the doggies doo da's where it was. I suppose the signalman will get a view of more action where you are moving it to right enough.

Looking good

Yes, a better place for the signal box.
I take it you'll build another signal box for the station side?
