Station set on the North Norfolk coast.

Just fixed it! Wire solder joint was broken. Tested it and seems to be working, I will check the grass in the morning! :):)

The yard is looking brilliant Ron, really coming to life and getting better and better. Roll on the clutter.

Static grass applicators are so cheap and easy to make Toto, less than a tenner, so no contest really.

All the best,

Bill :)

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Hi Ron,

The loco yard is looking exceptionally good with the old disused line disappearing under a matt of foliage. A great little effect. Not to mention the very appropriate posing of your rolling stock. ( And I thought we had a deal on teasing with that DMU as well ).

the grass looks good if maybe as you suggest a little heavy but I think that's the way it needs to be done……… sow it long and cut it back a bit to the ideal length. …….. You've conquered it though.

good job

Hi Ron,

Great clips.cant wait to get my DMU strutting their stuff on Rosebuddy. Spurs me on. Not sure if mine has lights or not. I think they do. Could be a bit of night time operation.:mutley maybe some well placed platform lights as well.

Top drawer stuff. Thanks for showing.

Hi Ron            Your D M U does really good good (Just out of Swindon or whichever workshop) with a new paint job. That puts me in a "Dilemma", with my new start do I risk making a "Right Mess of Weathering" of my new stock?? or do I leave them be?and have brand new clean looking trains running about,                 all the best   Kevin

Staying on the thread Kevin.

As it's a preserved line I've left it 'like new'! I have left my A4's and diesels the same  and weathered a couple of older, smaller models! One of the reasons for choosing a preserved line, that and shorter, mixed stock trains!! :)

New loco seen at Weybourne!!

Thought I ought to balance the rolling stock and I needed a small tank!
Bachmann 45XX with DCC  (only £62 s/h) runs very well and looks good I think?!

Weybourne now has a waiting room on Platform 2 as per real Weybourne.

Also got a Peco Loco-lift which I find a brilliant idea as I can store loco's not in use off the layout and when required just place the lift on the track and drive it onto the layout.

Took some video's of it in use as well!
