Covering the rock face and a lot of the surrounding area in Gorse bushes shouts North Norfolk and the Weybourne and Sheringham area

(That's what I think Andy!, need some bright yellow paint and a small brush!!)

Today I visited the Stamford rail show and besides some scatter and glue I also bought a pair on LNER Teaks!!



Also a bit of weathering on the goods shed!



And finished the bridge road!

I noticed you seemed to be using the "card lattice" method for your hills Ron - how do you get on with it ?  I ask because I'm doing one on Maxmill but, IMHO, it doesn't come close to using chicken wire ……………:roll::roll:

No problems Peter but I use a quick set/grab glue which means I can build it fairly quickly and it's ready to cover in less than half an hour. I use crumpled newspaper for support. never used chicken wire it looks a bit tough!!

You are flying through it. Great progress. The scenics are looking really good. I also like the teaks. I have some of them as well but it could be a while before I get the chance to show them off.

It would be nice to see a wee video of them being hauled about ……… Not hinting or anything.

I prefer polystyrene foam carved to shape then smeared with a fairly thick mix of polyfilla and an earth or green coloured emulsion applied with a palette knife followed by a dose of scatter before it dries.
