Thanks. I was perplexed when I looked through the list. Thanks for the support! You should give me a run for my money by entering next year. I’d bet you’d come up with a first class entry!Ah! I may have messed up the "like". Corrected now!

Thanks. I agree, there are some brilliant ideas and work and workmanship.…and I’ve given you a like too. Although it was a close run thing, there are some excellent models in that competition!

I just went to check back. I hadn’t noticed it before but yeah the shine could be a weir!Forgot to mention earlier that the mirror makes it look as though there's a weir there.

Hey Kevin. Nothing special here. I simply searched litter on google and printed off some items after resizing them to OO-ish size!Hi Chris. I don’t need any size of Tesco carrier bag, but I wondered where you purchased a miniature carrier bag for your “Litter Junction “. Best wishes Kevin

Maybe it’s time to buy the wireless iron. Would help soldering the 100’s of droppers for Norcott!I'm no expert Chris, but that looks like you may need a soldering iron tip.
Good job you found it.

For the perfectionist out there, I apologise for the irregular spacing. If you look on the wall I marked ‘safe areas’ which if I’ve calculated everything correctly will avoid point motors (hopefully)!

Not much has changed on top, it is now just nicely fixed in place. Next is to mark and drill the droppers and point motor positions.

I usually find I remember I've switched mine on if I keep it in my pocket ……………
I have a wireless soldering iron in my tool box. Mine is single heat (hot - 400C I think) and no changeable bits. It's great…………………..for short term use. After around 1 minute or so, it automatically turns off and you have to press "go" again. It heats up in about 15 seconds but, after 5 or 6 restarts, it needs charging - about 2 hours. It's useful indeed although not a replacement for a standard iron but, as it only cost me around €12, I can't grumble..
Speaking of droppers, I did see a layout somewhere where he'd brought all his wires to trunking mounted immediately behind the facia so all soldering etc. was carried out at waist height, on the flat, in the trunking. If I were starting from scratch again, I'd certainly do something like that having struggled under the baseboards on my current layout.
Those sweeping points look great - a nice easy run in for the trains and access to all platforms it seems. :thumbs

Your modest comments do you credit and as is often said, you nailed it!

PS. The mirror is a genius touch!

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)
