Normally I wouldn't try and put people off, but unless you have programming experience an Ardurino wouldn't be useful. I have had a look on the internet and can't see a simpler solution for you to suggest as there is nothing pre-made to fulfil that role.Hi Chris. Another reply. Although I haven’t got much track on my plank I am considering the purchase of a “Ardurino device and the rest of the kit, to setup a third rail arc as a train passes by. Would you please advise me on where I can purchase my requirements. Best wishes Kevin

Anyway more importantly… Its Teasel Bay's 4th birthday today. The last year has seen a lot of progress on the sea wall and beach. It has been a good escape in the last year given lockdown restrictions.

First one fitted. It instantly changes the scene, I should have done it sooner!

Added some bushes to beak up the scene.

Temporary removed the access bridge to fit the road which runs order. To allow the water mill section to be removable this bit sits on top to hide the joins. Needs a little Sculptamold to merge the two sections.

Very well done, the mill looks much more at home in a natural setting.
Best,

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Just a comment about the tractor…………..I can't make out if it's a Fordson Major or a Fordson Dexta - the colour is the classic "Fordson" blue/orange but if memory serves me right, the much smaller Dexta originally came with silver wheels so my guess is it's a Major. However, when driving tractors, the driver almost always sat leaning slightly forward, almost slumped towards the steering wheel - never leaning back as your chap appears to be unless operating implements. Tractors were not the most comfortable of vehicles in those days ! Changing his posture would, IMHO, instantly convert the current "toy" into a "model"……………….

I'm not sure at the moment, I quite like the simplicity of the blue which can be easily ignored. I've got the flexibility to do anything in the future so we'll see!Now you can take your time finding a final backscene.

Someone made a similar comment on the photo on facebook! Trapping fingers in deckchairs seems to be a common theme! I'll have to do some market research and get back to you on prices :mrgreen:How much to hire a deck chair? I promise I won't sue if I trap me fingers. :)

I have no idea what the tractor is… I liked the colour! My tractor knowledge is near enough zero but I'll see if I can slouch Farmer Jack slightly forward. He wasn't made for the tractor, at the moment he is near enough plonked on top as a long running experiment to see if he actually fitted.Just a comment about the tractor…………..I can't make out if it's a Fordson Major or a Fordson Dexta - the colour is the classic "Fordson" blue/orange but if memory serves me right, the much smaller Dexta originally came with silver wheels so my guess is it's a Major. I certainly wouldn't put it past him. Farmer Jack is is named after someone who likes a tipple!Amazing the difference a bit of backscene can make :thumbs
