Hi Chris.   Thank you for your reply. But I thought that I had already told you “ that the neighbour who gave me the van had found it hidden in the hedge “ left by the postman (deliver and run). My problem is to either have a spare van or to return it, not a problem with a room size layout!    Best wishes Kevin

It’s Wally! Off of the Where’s Wally books Kevin. 

My children enjoyed the Wally puzzles in the 80's. And now my grandchildren enjoy them. Although over the years, Wally seems to have accumulated a family.

A few years ago I built a 1/48 red arrows hawk kit, it came with 2 pilots but I only put one in the model, the other got a striped paint job and me and the misses hide him around the house, it's sometimes months before he is found again…

Hi Andy.    In my  Railway Room I put important items in a safe place, some times I even make a note of the location and when I require whatever I cannot find it.  Best wishes Kevin

Thanks Kevin & Marty. The figures are from https://scale3d.co.uk/ who have some interning characters and even create bespoke people for your layout. The lady who paints them is called Sue and she does a brilliant job. 

Hi Chris.   Thank you for your reply. After thinking long and hard about populating some of my carriages, I took the plunge, but,soon realised my error, passengers on a train that is stabling. As for painting them, they were painted in China? at least before leaving the workhouse/factory. Then I turned to Modelu, a much better choice, but. I haven’t got anyone to do the painting unless I win the lottery then I can purchase them already painted. I still have a long way to go Back scene, Ground cover, Weathering, and that is just for starters. Meanwhile, Best wishes Kevin

Kevin nowt to stop you putting in a couple of cleaners while the carriage is sitting in the sidings ? And someone in 'High Viz' fixing something. Good excuse to have the carrage lit up as well  :thumbs

Hi Matt.  Good idea, and if one remembers that the 2BIL would run round in virtual darkness, except when going through a tunnel, all day long.  Best wishes Kevin 

I have got to admit I love lights! I’m drawn to stock which has lights and I plan to add more lighting! As for people Kevin, you can get away with a lower quality of figure in carriages. 
Populating Teasel with people is a far more expensive task than I originally planned.  Each set of people seem to disappear in Teasels landscape!
