Branch Line - Roundy, roundy with some shunting
First three sections of wall are in and I've decided stone didn't really go, so I'm back to brick.

Clearance is OK

Platform side.

..and from the other end.

Two more slightly lower sections left to go in.

Only problem I get is the cyan (I think) runs out in the tri-colour print cartridge very quickly when printing brick paper, and it starts going a bit pink

The dreaded shortage of ink………That`s why printers are so cheap…….the money is made from the sales of ink which seems to run out very quickly……..??????

Must remember not to use red when printing drawings or track plans :thud
Oh for the days of the old HP Inkjets with three separate colour cartridges.

Cheapest Brother printer I can find costs a fair bit more than an HP or Cannon and that also has a tri-colour cartridge.
Just wondering if you have a very large wall whether it's cheaper in the long run to buy printed brick sheets, rather than a download and print yourself.

Yes when you consider printing multiple copies of your downloaded file, the cost makes you consider other alternatives. I wonder how the cost works out if the file was taken to a High St. print firm, compared to doing it at home. I have considered this myself although haven`t explored the possibilities yet in Oz. Some of these firms also would have laser printing capability which I`m led to believe is superior to bubble jet.???

a. It gives a crisp inflexible coating that may crack when bent around a sharp right-angle,
b. It makes the texture impervious to water-based weathering and water-based adhesives such as 'budget' PVA if over-lapping,
c. It prevents the paper being stretched or manipulated or burnished in the way that one encourages wet wallpaper to conform.
That said it does offer a robust finish that can be handled confidently, almost akin to very very thin plastic sheet.

There's now a lower section extending to the end of the platform, but I haven't taken a picture yet, too busy with catenary.
S'pose you've all had Christmas dinner in Oz, but I'm off to start on the vegetables

Some of the family had a rotten cold over Christmas and it was my turn last week

Even thought it was below 100 yesterday, I popped out to the garage and removed some points and track.
No, I haven't finally gone 'off my trolly', there was a kink in the main line that although didn't cause any problems, was driving me mad.

It's not very visible in the picture, but it was there and created even more of a kink in the piece of track making the loop.

In the spirit of 'less is more', I'm going to replace the track making the loop but leave out the additional two points I had, so all that comes off the goods loop is two industrial siding.
Bit more prototypical (maybe).

Happy New Year……hope you`re feeling better.?
I agree…….if something there is bugging you….you`re best to deal with it even if isn`t causing any problems. At least then it`s resolved in your mind and you can move forward knowing that all is good in Latton Fields.
