There is a waste effluent barge to sit on the canal together with some workers. a fisherman waiting to be put in place ,and a few ducks ,then i can turn attention to other jobs .
In particular an olde worlde building and stables with some filming going on. an excuse for a hansom cab and some period characters..
Don't know when though as its gardening time really ,
Thanks again .

It will operate locos in the normal manner , but when Novice and i fitted a train tech signal to the track in accordance with the method used on his layout at home. We got the smoke from the accessory decoder, which of course promptly burnt out. I checked the voltage on the track to find 2 volts dc and 20 volts ac . All literature and the unit itself states that the operating voltage is 15 volts dc.
So then i sent the unit back to Gougemaster, explaining what i had found ,and asking for the unit to be repaired. I was pleased when it arrived back in the post ,but without an invoice for repairs. However they included a note that no fault was found.
I bought a new multitester and tried again with obtained the same 20 volt ac reading as before. i telephoned the Gougemaster tech dept today and was told this is normal ,referring to the workshop notes taken by the Gougemaster tech boys .a normal test was carried out and no fault found.
Novice is back at work abroad now so i am unable to enlist his help. Would any prodigy owner be kind enough to check the track voltage on their layout and advise me what they find.
I really am at a loss just now as something is wrong somewhere and Gougemaster will not agree . I am not looking for a freebie repair here ,but they say nothing is wrong.
