Union Mills Models Ltd. Isle of Man. Small manufacturer of handmade precision locos with renowned reliability and pulling power.
The "2301" Class Dean Goods is the only GWR loco produced at the moment but he has a range of LNER and LMS 0-6-0 and 4-4-0 tender engine amongst others.
Well worth checking them out. I've got his number if you need it.

Here's some more…
There is nothing like simply messing about with ground gloop!
Mother has always been concerned that the farmer owning the fields on top of the scenic break between Henllan and the Mill couldn't access his fields.
A pleasant day was spent rectifying this and a farm track has been cut into the hillside.
This is where it is going to go.
After a bit of surgery the hardshell landform is cut away to allow for some landscaping.
And now rebuilt with the muddy, narrow track winding along the face of the hill. It's still drying 24 hours later but it has been 3°C here overnight so that's not surprising.
At the base of the track it meets the Heol Y Bedw just before the road crosses the railway on a bridge. I'm thinking a gate, grass, hedgerow, wilderness, trees.
At the top the farmer has been busy collecting hay from the top field and has left a clear track. (Early days yet, it will be toned down and weathered into the field a bit more.)
Looking forward to throwing some vegetation at it once it dries.
cheers

I love doing the scenery.
Today I am being brave and trying to sort out something that has been a bit of a bug bear for me for a while and has been partly what has caused the "go slow" on the layout recently.
The double sided sticky tape holding the relays under the Landyfriog Junction plank wasn't up to the job and one of the relays came adrift and it's a tricky sucker to get back in.
It looks like this and should be in the gap under the plank and above the crossbeam.
Now to connect it all back up again… correctly… sigh… I may be a while.

Some more "vegetating" has been done and I'll get some photos up shortly.
However, in the meantime, here's the current plan for Newcastle Emlyn station using Anyrail. I've had to compress it significantly to get as much in as I can, which annoys me, but I know that it's one of the available space trade offs that most of us have to deal with.
The original station was a terminus but my altered history has extended the line, as it was originally intended, through to the coast at Cardigan Bay. This will be a future extension on baseboards yet to be constructed and there will be more on the why's and wherefores in due course.
I was concerned that the freelanced Llandyfriog Junction was going to further limit the space available for the station but it seems to fit in OK and now that the plan is in place I can start thinking about the supporting woodwork.

You can't do that Marty - we are coming the other way from Cilgerran with the Narrow gauge Teifi Gorge Railway!!The original station was a terminus but my altered history has extended the line, as it was originally intended, through to the coast at Cardigan Bay. This will be a future extension on baseboards yet to be constructed and there will be more on the why's and wherefores in due course.

(Just got to get through Llechryd and Cenarth… two more 4 foot boards!)
Just put a NG terminal at Emlyn…
Shaun.
(P.S. just moved to Llechryd, so I'm getting nearer)

It's good to see that the era of railwaymania is alive and well in our modelling world.
Can we negotiate? I'm happy to put in trans-shipment facilities along the valley to help get your slate to your markets if you'll support my mainline to the St Dogmaels port for the Irish cattle trade and the trans-Atlantic boat trains?
:hmm
Marty(Llechryd looks nice, I like the bridge and the gently sloping main street down to the river. Hope you've got somewhere comfortable. What happened to your old barn?)

Really like Llechryd, Marty. We now have a fairly modern house that doesn't need too much maintaining, a spare room big enough for 'railwaying' and close to all the village facilities. Do miss the barn though!Marty(Llechryd looks nice, I like the bridge and the gently sloping main street down to the river. Hope you've got somewhere comfortable. What happened to your old barn?)
Our house is towards the top left corner in this 'Google' shot:

 I have enough trouble with a 9mm track spacing thanks!
:???: But… I do like the idea of a narrow gauge interchange….
 I'll think about it… no promises.

Very nice indeed. I like your clouds on the back scene - look very realistic.
