A bandsaw will work, may produce best results sandwiched between a couple of piecds of ply or hardboard.

Start one end and work gently along, bending it as you go.

Tom, I'll see what I can do, I've decided to photo all my loco's and stock for insurance purposes. We were broken into a couple of weeks ago and had stuff stolen . Electronics and jewelry of course… but no trains thankfully.
[Rant] Low down, interbred, illiterate, unkempt, heartless scum. Not enough chlorine in the gene pool in my opinion. My only compensation is that the drug addled, petty, sniveling dogs have shorter life expectancy than I do and a significant part of that life is going to be as the love slave of their 6' 2" 145kg cell mate. [/Rant]
Owen, you had a blitz setting up the shed and getting the basics down, bet you feel like you need an overhaul!
Following on from previous posts regarding cutting circuit board, the band saw was the answer. Piece of…. board?
cheers

Sorry to hear about that Marty and I know just how you feel. We had a burglary back in the 1970's - jewelry, TV, and my super Hi-Fi system all went - and it still rankles after all these years whenever we think of it. It's the sense of outrage that an interloper has been in your house which is the immediate reaction but it does go in time so try not to let it get you down too much.Tom, I'll see what I can do, I've decided to photo all my loco's and stock for insurance purposes. T took it the hardest, irreplaceable jewelry from family, friends and yours truly collected over a lifetime. Nothing seriously expensive, hardly worth their risk and effort but priceless to her.
You move on and thank your lucky stars that they didn't trash the place or torch it.
I've had my rant and I'll leave it at that, back to the railway.
This octopus is my test board for the LED point indicator lights to go into the control panel. It's been so long that I'm not quite sure which does what at the moment, but I know it works and I've got a wiring diagram that will get me back up to speed in no time I'm sure.

Sorry to hear about the break-in, not meaning to bring it up again. I had a similar occuance many years ago. They ended up with about $3500.00 - $4000.00 worth of CDs (music). A lot of these were boxed sets, where there were only a handful in Oz and the rest I had ordered from overseas as I could not get them here. Then they pinched my flat-mates collection of foriegn currency he had. I recall this happened not too long after those Cash-Converter/hock shops had opened up all over Sydney…
Anyway, to change the subject, nice looking loco. The two-tone green livery is one of my favourites. :thumbs
Cheers, Gary.

Aahhhhh….
Looks too good to to dirty it up Marty.
As Paul says it could be brand new, or perhaps it's just had one of it's occasional washes.

I too like the Class 24 and was very happy to find during my research that they were used on the West Wales main line and Newcastle Emlyn branch.
Just to record the ongoing workings on the railway the pictures below show more of the development of the 9 legged octopus circuit board that is designed to work with a relay to change point indicating LEDs on a control panel.
The diagram that is meant to make sense of the wiring.
All soldered up and with the demo control board with track diagram and LEDs in place.
Soldering… must try harder… at least it works.
and a photo of Class 52 Western Yeomen D1035 in BR Green for the records. Reckon engineering is going to have to replace that bridge soon from the lean on that bridge parapet!
Wet and cold here today so hunkered down in the layout room soldering up droppers to the code 55 points for Llandyfriog Junction…. Huzzah.
