The plans were in an old 1970's Railway Modeller, they were for 2mm which I scaled up at work on the copier

Hi, if you want a copy I can send you one, once I am back from a currently wet Southport, hopefully the sun will make an appearance tomorrow.

Hi, I am back…

Some more progress this weekend

Glued some pieces of card together to make the engine/wheel house, and started painting it.

Used some bits and pieces from my bits box and some bent sprue to add some details, and a bit of plastic tube for the funnel.

Test fitting before making the wheelhouse

Wheelhouse from scribed card painted with watercolours then some powders.

Test fitted and painted mast and lifting boom.

Next is cargo bay covers, a winch for the front, rigging and cables for the mast, winch and boom, anchors and chains and some general deck junk and I think it will be nearly there.

And I suppose it needs a name?

Started on the cargo hold covers yesterday evening, they need some dry brushing and possibly some powders to tone it down.

They are just card covered in tissue and then painted, ignore the white bits as the glue was still wet.

Cargo hold covers given a black wash and then a drybrush with a lighter version of the green, this will do for these at this point.

Very good idea on the name Doug, her name is Roxy, we do have another red staffie called Bonnie, probably also a good name for a Clyde Puffer.

Auld Bonnie? Or Bonnie Lass? Both classic puffer names from what I've read.

Nice work on the Tarps too.

Some more good ideas Marty, I see I am going to have to build some more boats so that all 4 of our dogs can have one named after them.

Staffies Roxy & Bonnie, Poodle/Yorky cross called Maggie and Rosie the Westy.

Cheers
