End to End with Cassette Fiddleyard
Roof tiled and rough painted.
Ridge Tiles and a black wash
Need to let it thoroughly dry before toning it down with pastel chalks
While it was drying I started an experiment with scribed card and watercolours, a small brick built hut.

Test fitted to the stacks
Next job is to paint them, then start on the chalks for the roof.

If you look a the colouring of the small roof compared to the large one you will see the difference.

If I'd looked back at your post on 1st December and read it properly ……………………
My brains full of registration arms, cantilever arms, contact wires, catenary wires and insulators at present
….. and yes, looking back at the small and large roof I see what you mean :thumbs

And something for a bit of fun, to be included somewhere on the layout.
Some foamboard, card and bits from the odds and end box
Can you tell what it is yet?

Also need to find some scale plans for a Millenium Falcon but until I do I think the next project is going to be some low relief terrace houses or cottages.

Tried out some stock before a small alteration starts.
End to end will also now have a full loop by having a couple of single track semi hidden loops, extra trackbed started.
A small cottage and low relief office block built when the weather kept me out of the shed.
And I was never really very pleased with the water in the small harbour so tried a method from another forum.
Turned the original water into a winter scene using PVA and toilet roll.
A mixture of Burnt Umber, Sap Green, Blue, Black, white and a touch of yellow for painting, followed by two coats of PVA and two coats of varnish.
Thats better.
Just need to get Easter out of the way, then we might get some decent weather so I can get in the shed more.
