Thanks John,

Yes, maybe keep it simple, some waist ground, a field etc with horses or sheep maybe?

Here's some shots with the new Canon G12, I'm still figuring out it's functions.

Platelayers hut added, a fence from the tunnel to and around the hut next.

Looking great, as expected. :thumbs

I like the colours in the retaining wall and tunnel portal, very nice. Is that rubberised horse hair you use in under the foliage behind the retaining wall ? If yes, I need to get my self some of it… ;-)

Cheers, Gary.

Yes Gary rubberised hose hair, I bought two big packs of it, when it came I thought I had bought two much but it soon goes, also, it looks a little over scale but when it has some foliage added it's ok, by the way, there's also some of that rusty wire wool added in there.

Thanks Pete, appreciated…we modellers must be a little crazy though because most of that area can't be seen unless you strain to look over…good on pictures though

Beautiful shots Phil…….they are so crisp and well composed.

The lighting , whatever you use, is very effective.

I like the 61xx ……super weathering……..is that kit built……it doesn't look like the Hornby offering

Cheers

Thanks John, I use two flood units, low wattage but total I think 6,000w in real money.

The 61xx is a South Eastern Finecast kit with an etched chassis and if I remember Finecast wheels, it has a Mashima motor geared to 60.1.

It's still unchipped as there's little room for my usual make but I think by removing some ballast it could be possible, a mini chip is also an option but I don't know how good they are soundwise etc.

The last picture was a case of setting the camera and pushing it well into the tunnel…and hope for the best!
