This is really beautiful modelling craftsmanship!
It gives me some ideas on what we'd like to do.

Steve

Just moved house. A new railway plan is inevitable. Watch this space.

It's a pity that a backscene can't be added because of the window but this is what it might look like.

Another shot with background added, it's possible I guess to fit a removable piece behind with a backscene stuck on?

I showed the lad I work with (who is not a modeller), his first comment was "I didn't realise colour photo's from the 50's were so vibrant", I then informed him it was a model, can't repeat that comment, but essentially translates to WOW.

Well done Phil

Amazing, something to aspire to. The photos are equally so and I particularly like the black and white shot.
Thanks

I like reproducing the early Shadows recordings as close to the originals as possible, warts and all, but I also record all sorts of music including the backing tracks.

Here's an Eric Clapton & Albert Lee number just finished, Country/Blues.

Hi Phil,

I'm impressed with your combined railway and music room, a joyful place to spend some happy hours. I'm particularly envious of your GLP, a long standing favourite of mine and one I've promised myself one day, perhaps . . . alas, so many toys, so little time!

Have fun with the black hole, something interesting is sure to occur.

It's good to see you modelling again. Have fun and enjoy all you do,

Bill :)

Last edit: by Longchap

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)
