Glancing at it (without too much thought), keeping it all nicely square against the back wall is a little too symetrical for my liking. Initial idea - bring the curved mains on the left down to tight behind the signal box and have the station running diagonally, front left to centre rear. The engine shed could go either top left, slightly behind the station (roughly where the mains are now) and the goods shed somewhere in the empty lower right triangle created by the station and smallholding area thus being handy to serve the village area (terraced houses). The remaining "empty" space (where the mine was) could either become the start of a village/small town or open grazing land, contoured to hide the mains at the right hand side whilst leading naturally into the smallholding area. The "cutting" at back right created by the contours is an ideal area to place that wonderful bridge that used to sit between the station and mine area - a shame if that's not used. Having a couple of rows of little terraced houses, end-on, climbing up steep cobbled roads leading off the road serving the existing terraced houses and cafe/garage up towards the railway cutting would make a superb scene after you've waved your magic on it. You could even send the mains underground roughly where the colliery footbridge is to allow slightly longer rows of houses.
Alternatively, if the bridge really is surplus, my address is ……………………..
Sorry - not much good at playing with arrows and super-impositions so you'll have to try and guess what I'm talking about …………

I now have oil :) so loco's will probably need stripping etc to get to the motors, once they are running, there's a whole bunch of track that needs cleaning and checking for continuity, not forgetting the points!
I also forgot I had the NCE booster and transformer, just checked and they are now £250!

Everything certainly seems to have gone up a bit Phil, I'm sure the NCE Powercab and the Digitrax Zephyr both used to be around £120

Yes and that £250 is just for the booster and not the Powercab itself 😳

Thanks Peter.
The video is a tad on the light side as it was taken with an iPhone, but the weathering is a mixture of paint lightly sprayed with an air brush, also some powders to add a little rust etc.
You asked “whose is it”? It’s mine working after many many years 😳

Me thinking it would give extra zip to the loco’s was wrong, the Powercab on its own uses a PCP module for control etc, the Booster does away with this and instead uses a UTP module which is what I didn’t have, actually they’re only about £20.
What the booster does is allows up to five or six locos to be run at the same time which is good if you need to do that, I don’t 😳
I only need to run two, which the Powercab alone does perfectly, so a bad buy with me and the Booster 🙁
