Many hours of work in that fabulous station. I like the flower beds particularly. Great photos. Bravo.

I've slowly been changing my figures to Modelu, the majority of my figures are Monty's Models, they are very good but Modelu give for more accuracy with close up shots, I must have at least twenty of painted Monty's, what to do with them though?

Hi Phil C   You are a very skilled modeller, I purchased a Modelu guard, the one positioned to stand up leaning on the back of the brake van, but, before I knew it he had disappeared, never to be seen again? Then again I can be like the Shepherd and his 🐑 sheep when/ if I feel fit enough. Best wishes Kevin

You could always try selling them on here Phil ……………………….

No idea what they're worth but any proceeds might help with the mModelU invoice.  :thumbs

Yes, could do Peter, I think the average white metal unpainted figures are around £1:80.

I'll probably sell them as a job lot as just a couple at a few £'s a time is not worth the hassle Peter.

A great job on the figures, Phil.  Mine always look ok from a distance but can never stand up to such close shots.  I think I need to be more patient with the brush and paint.

Thanks guys, I always paint the face and hands first, then work in to out, ie. Shirt, waistcoat, coat, it doesn’t matter if you over paint the shirt because the waistcoat paint covers it, the same with the waistcoat as the coat covers it. When all is dry, I go over the crevices like eyes with diluted dark brown and wipe the highlights with a tissue,, when needed I go over the clothes with diluted black.
