More space and interest from just a few inches. Well done, now get to work and have some fun.
Best,
Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Hello.. my name is Phil and it's been three weeks and two days since I last did any modelling…
Oh no…..
It's the canal….
then…. it would be nice to put a representation of a lock in front of the houses, after all , they are going uphill….
and… if you have a lock… you need a lock keepers house….
and a loading wharf….
and a crane….
Maybe some crates and sacks….
and a bloke fishing….. next to the ducks….
and …. if you have a canal …. and a lock…. a wharf with crane and crates…
then you just have to have a Clyde puffer….. or at least a barge….
We could be watching this develop for years…..
Lucky you thought of it.

Your scenes take me back to one of my dim memories from living on the UK. I accompanied my Father on a haulage trip from somewhere in Lancashire, to a remote farm somewhere in Wales, carrying a big load of old Railway Sleepers! I don't know what they were for on the farm, but I do remember thinking "how on earth is this Atkinson bogey drive 8 wheeler (Gardner 6LXB engine) going to get up these hills?" Did the research on the truck many years after leaving the UK.
Cheers and well done again, Andrew

No it's OK mate, I was only joking. It's that Peter from France. He's a bad influence on me. ;-)
Qui ? Moi ? ……………….
Until we moved to France, I had a Class 1 licence - I think I got it simply because, in those days, one could move straight from car to Class 1 without having to do the intermediate classes in between so, when an HGV licence became a necessity to me, Class 1 was the obvious one to get. As with cars, I was always a Volvo man but on one occasion, doing a favour for a friend, I drove an ERF with a pre-selector type gearbox from Durham to Scotland and back. I absolutely hated it although those used to it thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.
Quite what this has to do with Pen y Bryn, I have no idea other than it's Welsh name suggests it should be "up a valley" !!! :hmm

Are you all "locals" and where did you play back in the seventies ?

We're all local, but the singer that recorded yesterday (the tracks are not mixed yet) now lives in Nottingham.
In the 70's we played mainly Wales but occasionally ventured out to England :)
