superb detail Phil and a wonderful choice of poses - each character is perfectly chosen for the situation.

Not sure if the guy in this shot is dishing out the wages but obviously those looking on are most interested - maybe he's doing a "now you see it, now you don't" trick with a tea pot !!

This one is also bursting with detail - maybe the shed manager coming to join them for their tea break - jacket and tie job but carrying his tea can.  Also, love the lupins/foxgloves/willowherb in the unkempt corner behind the oil drum plus that rusty disused siding - just wonderful !!!

Thanks Peter, I have to say the the Modelu figures are excellent and look real, which one would expect seeing as they're scanned from life!

Wow Phil - as ever, a magnificent layout extremely well photographed.

Showed it to Liz who said goodness, it could easily be real - and she's right.

Just the right amount of grubbiness, just the right amount of weathering on the locos and the way it catches the sun is fabulous with that dappled look suggesting trees between it and the sun.  That must be natural light surely ……………..

Thanks Peter, you're right, natural light, not always possible, there's two roof windows and a big one on the pine end but even with these, there's not a lot of light on the layout except on a good sunny day.

Hi Phil,

Along with a lot of other things. That said, there is either a 60 mph gale (likely from the location), or an interesting situation about to develop across the converging points as they would be doing a fair lick to stream like that.

Thanks Pete, it's a bit of fun doing these, especially when adding the extras, brings a model into reality…sort of :)
