Your photos are always a joy to behold Phil.  :Happy

This latest one is so realistic, it's hard to imagine it's a model ………………………….I presume it is ?

Brilliant photos as ever Phil  :thumbs

I've probably asked before, and you've probably answered but where do the trees come from ?  They're so realistic.

The trees…..Ok, picture 7, two above this for example, the one in the centre is sea foam, the big ones are done with the twisted wire method and Woodland Scenic material, I also use Hydrangea stalks covered with WS, the big ones are about a foot high.

I did a "how to" on how to beef up an existing tree, making it bigger and fuller, it's here somewhere but I din't know if the Photobucket images are still viewable?

The trouble with pictures like this, is that they make me want to rip all my track up and start again.    Really nice Phil and thanks for posting them.

Cheers Pete.

By the way. That Pannier leaving the tunnel on Page 62 has the most realistic looking smoke I've ever seen on a model. Please also refer to my last post above.

Cheers Pete.

Thanks Pete,

The realistic smoke is actually real smoke sampled from a real picture :)

Thanks for these Phil.

I'm heading for UK in about an hour so will digest them fully once I'm there - it will help pass the time on the train heading north from London in the dark……………… :thumbs
