Seeing as Model Rail are going to do a re-visit to Pen-y-Bryn I thought  it was time to create a Station as it has never had a proper one in  twenty eight years, so here's the start.

The Station building is  one I built from scratch last year, the Signal Box is from master model  maker Allan Downes and the added buckets, mould, grime etc by me.

This is just the start as there will be a lot more added in time.

The station looks really great, Phil. Pity about the crap signal box.

Allan, it was so dog rough that I had to cover the roof and add some paint…..it's looking a bit better now :)
On another subject, I've just ordered some station seats from Coopercraft, spoke to the guy there who tells me they should be in the post this week, however….there are posts on another forum saying that they have gone bust and people are not getting their orders!

Thanks,  I have station seats to build, some more storage sheds and lamps to install, and some people to place…and I expect, a few other things.

Stunning Phil
I wish you luck with your benches…..the Coopercraft thread on the other forum is pretty depressing

Thanks John,

Two benches are made and in place, quite fiddly being so small but they look right.

Very nice……in fact much better than the Coopercraft version! I hadn't come across them before.
Cheers

Looking good Phil……..to add icing to a perfect cake could I suggest a couple of luggage trollies to complete the scene? I think Dart do a nice set…..oh and some milk churns….I think they were still using them in your period…..mid -late fifties judging by the girl in the yellow dress……….

Looks really good

John

Thanks John, I'm actually looking for some trolleys, I've already checked out the Dart ones which are excellent but out of stock, Gaugemaster have trolleys but not the flat bed type, also trunks and cases, I'm still looking?
Good idea about the milk churns, I still have storage sheds to make.
