Strange thing Allan, I've been living in my house since 1989 with no problems at all, until a few years ago when the Polish started to appear, we had a break in, luckily our dogs barked and they cleared off, they were caught breaking into another house down in the village the next day…they were…you guessed it!

Really looking good Phil. Those Scalelink windows make all the difference wouldn't you say mate ?

Oddly enough, I've just started on a 4mm station myself for a client using the same windows and stonework. I'ts  almost finished and I can post pictures later if you like.

Thanks Allan, and yes, the etched windows are a step up from plastic molded ones, I think also that by adding the wooden frames also helps.
BTW, some of the large stones have been reduced in thickness and also made into smaller courses.

Here's the build so far Phil 

 





























with a few shots of the roofing textured and ready for colouring.

You can see why I normally don't glaze windows because they're forever covered in dust but since this is a commission then the windows have to be glazed.

I wish I had the time to get things done that quickly, not only does the day job take time up :) but my wife's coming home tomorrow after a week baby sitting the grand kids in Nottingham and I have to clean the house:roll:
