And no doubt the dispatcher/train controller gets to vet those comments before they are published Sol ………………

Have you had to black-ball many of them so far ?   As you know, Australia is a long way from Bergerac so, before I buy my ticket, what sort of biscuits are on offer ?

Usually chocolate type biscuits - you know, the ones good for you & your chlorestral

Comments are verbal from the crew - nothing in writing - in fact, it is the normal practice in the layouts I operate on, to always give the owner stick & tell him what he has done wrong or should change or hope he stuffs up during the operate session !
One of the crew is so kind hearted, he will always tell the owner of suggested new track changes after ballasting…..

There is a saying - "who needs enemies when we have friends like that    "

I was about to look at Ryanair or Easy Jet for their schedules but, for chocolate biscuits I could probably justify Economy Class with Quantas.   You could pick me up at the airport…………..   Where exactly is Evanston ?   :hmm

That looks great! Lots of detail in a small space! A good storage space as well!

Fancy donating some of the blue/grey Mk2's? They seem are hard to come by in blue/grey and NSE!  :mutley

Hi All,

Here is a link to a video which is a time lapse of the operating session last night. It was filmed from the point of view of the east side of Tawnton Station, it covers the typical 2 hour operation session. Hope it gives you all some understanding as to how it operates. Enjoy.

Regards Connor

That video that Connor took & you lot have seen it,  normally with the crew of 5, on average , 35 specific trains as per written Orders, are moved in just over two hours.

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Make sure you keep the rail cartage rates competitive Sol, if you let the road transport win they will turn that lovely rail yard into a car park for the local shopping mall.

The few trucks I have on the D&S, cart goods to railway buildings/industries from within each town - the rail network carts it between towns - the local government taxes road trucks heavily if they leave their town & subsidizes rail.

That looks very smooth Sol - streamlined indeed.  :thumbs

I like the thinking behind the trucks - the D & S needs to have a word with Boris Johnson…………….. :cheers
