Hey all,

I found this whilst having a search for photography at Polhill Tunnel in the South of the country.

Personally, it would make a cracking working diorama that could quite easily be protoypical in the modern scene, created as faithfully as possible with all the usual Class 66's and Class 92's for traffic to and from the continent. Model the mainline's as scenic features only, put an intermodel train on there and we could be onto something.;-)

That's a really intertesting idea Sam, and you can see from that photo how you could model it into a module.

lots of modelling fitted into a small space, I like it.

Slightly off topic but did you have a good look at the previous pic..

Note the gantries. Two have extra yellow bits sugesting a temporay repair job whilst there is two lightweight gantrys next to them that look like they were added afterwards. The thing that got me was the colour on one side. Wonder if there had been a fire at this point sometime? ;-)

I didn't notice Dave. Well spotted. It's certainly a possibility, there is a noticable colour difference.
