If you do decide to brush paint, try a flat brush for the large areas as that will leave less brush strokes

Spookily I've just ordered some various size/types of sable brushes including 'flats' this morning.

Given up with Pheonix and their prices go up on Monday anyway.

Just trying to decide whether to go enamel or acrylic Railmatch and what thinners, if any.

Been looking on Howes, Gaugemaster and Kernow to find lowest postage charges, but they don't all have both types in stock.
