Or understood the paint chart?

My nearest model shop has just obtained a full rack of Citadel Paints.

Has anyone experience of them?
I've looked at their site and don't understand a word.
Are they Enamel? Acrylic?

However, with the choice of shades available, they could, potentially, be useful.

They are a very good range of paints and were upgraded a year or so ago- I would recommend them highly, and use them extensively. A good intro to them is here -
-and if you can get yourself to a Games Workshop store, the staff are only too willing to assist and demonstrate their products. Make sure you go when the schools are in though!

They are acrylics Pete. I use them a lot, they flow beautifully and cover well. The best I have found for figure painting.

Thanks, lads - I'll give them a try.
I just need to discover how they differentiate colours/matt-gloss etc.,.

They don't have different finishes in this range. If you want that, then the Humbrol range is probably your nearest choice, although it is going through a bit of quality problem just now. This should settle down once they get production underway in the UK.

Not essential as I can spray with matt varnish afterwards.
I use Humbrol at present.

I concur with others, these are very good indeed. I have found the Humbrol acrylics to be OK, it is the enamels that I have had issues with. Also, take a look at the "Army Painter" website. This site has some interesting products and tips for painting mass units.
