It's amazing what you find shopping with SWMBO...

Being the 'good man' I am (that is taking SWMBO out shopping after I returned home from work today), Yvonne needed to purchase some scrapbooking supplies, so off we went. As I had to control my boys in this fancy supplies shop, I came across some excellent looking corrugated card stock, whilst chasing them around as she shopped. The card comes in sheets 21 x 30cm or 8 1/4" x 11 3/4", either in packs of 5 or singular. So I done the next best thing, slipped them in with her purchases !

The brown sheet could pass as corrugated iron, whereas the white would pass as corrugated asbestos sheeting, as used on the BR precast concrete goods stores.

Even though it looks as if the card is just lined, it is actually more embosed than it looks. The corrugations can be felt when a finger nails is run over the sheet.

As can be seen, this is quite heavily corrugated and the reverse side is flat. It is made of two sheets of card (one corrugated, one flat) sandwiched together.

Cheers, Gary.

Looks interesting stuff Gary.  Is it sold for anything in particular or just "card" ?  It looks like the right size for "big 6" asbestos sheeting.

I find "The Works" a good source for that and similar.
The good stock I have is only spoiled by the fact that I'm never going to use it.

Peter: It's quite cheap.

Where I purchased this card, it is sold for card making in general, just to give cards some relief and interest ! The white sheet was $2.99 (£1.80) or the five sheets at $12.99 (£7.80). I bought the one sheet (for trial) to use as asbestos sheeting for a precast concrete goods store.

Cheers, Gary.

If anyone wants to pay the postage and packing, they are welcome to the corrugated card I have on hand.
I'm never going to use it.
