Heh?
But we have had Jigsaw 726 I hear you say. . .
. . . Well yes we have, but this is a bit of an experiment. The traditional jigsaw is done using an (old) windows program that creates an exe file, that is then converted into a zip file so that it can be uploaded to the forum. Members can then download and unzip the file and run it to create the jigsaw for them to complete. This is normaly done on a windows computer, So those using Android Phones and tablets etc miss out. Breakage did some initial research a while ago to see if we could open up the Jigsaw to more members, and passed on the details of what he came up with to me to see if it would suit.
This is a bit of an experiment to see
1) If it will work
2) if there is ANY interest
The provided link SHOULD take you to an online site, running the Jigsaw I have created, using that site.
It's NOT downloadable, you just complete it online. Each time I post a link It should relate ONLY to that particular Jigsaw. Once you open it you can just go back to that same link at any time to continue/ complete the Jigsaw.
I'm initialy trying to set the jigsaw as close to 300 pieces as I can, BUT be aware, on a phone screen this may just make the pieces too small. The good news is once opened YOU can change the number of pieces up or down as you wish, and then when you re open the link (in theory!) it should remember what you chose.
Be aware, this weeks Jigsaw Picture is the same on BOTH, so those who are doing it via computer, It's the same Jigsaw, just a slight difference in No of pieces.
There is no counter to tell me how many times (If any) the Jigsaw is accessed on this site so it would be REALLY HELPFULL to get some feedback on it, whether there is any interest, If it works even, Any way it could be tweeked to make it a better user experiance ? link Below

(No Idea As yet if the link will work, or you will need to cut and paste, but I'll look at that later if there is ANY interest
Cheers

I think, at the moment and for me, I prefer the original system. I didn't like the way the pieces were laid out on this new one. One has no idea how big the puzzle is going to be so I spent some time moving pieces out of the way. I'm also not a big fan of the odd shaped pieces and their lugs. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the simple old style pieces.
Having said all that, I did enjoy doing it - better than some you've given us recently ………….

I created a separate topic for this one so I can at the very least see if anyone has at least looked at it. I may do this for three or four weeks to see if there is any interest and then IF I continue doing it I'll just roll the link into the normal weekly jigsaw topic
I've not actually completed one of the online ones yet. I have created two or three but more to figure out just how I could make them available through the forum.
Now I'm going to have to do one to see what happens at the end. . . Does it explode? Drive off? Fall to bits ? …🤔
