Ed asked last week so :- Scottish Railway Preservation society, They are based at the Bo'ness and Kinneil railway site in Bo'ness, or Borrowstounness ( You can see why they call it Bo'ness !) It's a preserved railway that is open for viewing through the week and runs a mixture of steam and diesels on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with occasional steam or diesel (or mixed) Gala days through the summer, A Thomas the Tank weekend and Santa specials at Christmas. The SRPS side of it are involved in quite a few preservation projects over the site and there is a not bad musium as well. Positioned half way between glasgow and Edinburgh (Just a short run off the M9 motorway) It's well worth a visit by anyone passing through.Oh a half decent Cafe on site Plus shop and a section selling New/ used railway related books
