I thought everyone did this.....

I'm posting this because yesterday I fixed a car component for a chum, who like me, hates wasting Whisky Tokens on the unnecessary…

The plastic moulding around a switch needed a fine crack repairing and a small lug re-fixing so I suggested two-part epoxy resin.

We all know the stuff sticks like sh!t to an Army blanket, [and forbidden to break up SWMBO's pegs to make spatulas], some 10 years ago in B&Q I saw a box full of 'All at 50p' stuff stuff, I bought [yes, bought…groan ] a packet of 12 nylon disposable Flymo blades to mix and apply the stuff.

I still have six….as I discovered that having hung them on a convenient nail to go off, a slight bend flakes off the dry resin completely. Said chum was 'fulsome with his praise' [currently listening to the Sunday service on the wireless]

I thought I'd pass it on to you good fellows too, as it works with Polyfilla, NoNails etc.

Poop poop,

Doug

Alternatively, even though you might need an anaesthetic! (Hint purchase!)

You could buy wooden coffee stirrers for a reasonable amount AND they can double up as planks on the layout!

Very true, Peter. Luckily my daughter and chums fine Bar Stucks etc on my behalf for not paying their whack of U.K. tax! Additionally you can put them down without getting goo everywhere, and the nylon thingies have one smooth flat side and nice sharp edges.

Quick question:-  Do they allow people into Macdonalds accompanied by wild horses?
