An adventure into making my own etched fittings

Hi Jeff,

See! I told you it was a good day. Four things I've learned

Regards
Jim

Hi Jim,

I thought everybody knew where Eileens Emporium was. Nowhere near me that's for sure. Places like EE are in the hen's teeth category over here.

I need some 1mm square nickel silver bar, only place I can find it is EE, closed until January 3rd. Aargh!

PPD - send them the file, they will etch it.

Hi Jeff,
Which one is your Father in Law? Tony or Mike?

I haven't had anything to do with Tony but I bought quite a bit of 4mm stuff from Mike in the past when I modelled 4mm.

Although I haven't actually met Mike face to face, I have talked to him a few times on the phone and only recently realised his involvement in Electrifying Trains. I plan to stop and talk to him next year at Telford.

Mike is my F-in-L, Electrifying Trains was a natural
progression from MARCModels (for him). He has
some interesting developments in the pipeline!

Cheers Jeff,
What a small world.

The developments sound interesting, I look forward to catching up with him later in the year. Having just had a look on the Electrifying trains site I see that they plan to attend the Leigh show in April so I may catch up with him sooner than I thought.
