Yes indeed.  It has been acquired by another party and will now continue.  New blood and all that.  It takes a lot of time, effort and money to run a website these days.  It takes even more to keep it "clean", searchable (it costs the owner money to be listed nearer the top of searches) and prevent spam.  There comes a time when one person may feel too old and tired to continue.  And sometimes there comes a time when someone else steps in and says "I'll do it".
