Not a classic but nevertheless, an interesting mode of transport. Photographed outside our hotel during my recent trip to Scotland:

Here`s my little MGB…..it`s not in the league of those classics shown earlier but I thought you might like to see it.
These pics were taken by my son a few years ago when we exhibited at a local British car show.
It`s a Mark II 1969 1800cc 4 speed manual with electric overdrive.

I like all the chrome work. Well kept. Who is the dodgy looking geezer in the second photo, blue shirt with a camera bag on his back. I'd keep an eye on him.

Nice car Brian,i had a white MGB GT 1967.Love the wire wheels, that's what should be on it not those horrible Rostyles they stuck on in the early seventies for the american market along with the raised rubber bumpers.Very happy memories of mine,i met the wife in it.Haven't got the car now but still got the wife.
Regards

Toto I don`t know who that bloke is but he was no problem. I`m the bloke in the third picture in the maroon shirt with my gut hanging over the side mirror.
Alan I`m glad to hear you kept the wife…..I have too…..40 years next year!!! I bought the car as is during my mid life crisis. The previous owners were a lesbian couple who had just had a baby so the car had become useless for them. Don`t know how they arranged the baby and don`t want to know!!…..Anyway the MG is my little baby now. Unfortunately the weather has to be perfect to enjoy it so it spends a lot of time under wraps in the shed but when it comes out it`s a lot of fun on the road.

This is a real MG built before the merging of Austin, Morris, MG and a few others as the British Motor Corporation, later British Leyland and other manifestations finally sold to some German group.

The JWF Milano, powered by MG, built in Oz ! Quite similar lines to a D Type Jaguar, as a lot of sports cars were in the 60s.
