Having seen yours in situ on the photo, I have one very similar - an old electric greenhouse heater - but am slightly concerned that mine does get quite hot so don't use it anymore. I don't want a fire !!!
If yours also gets very hot and it's brand new, maybe I don't need to worry too much about mine …………………………

It does say in the instruction manual that it’s gets very hot , the actual tube itself is made of metal.

Only available space I have, I’m hoping everything survives the winter. It’s all insulated now with the heater for frost protection.
Ps how did yours do over the winter apart from the coldness. I’m worried about dampness but all seems ok up to now.

It was all OK. Living in a Essex only 20 miles from London, it doesn't get as cold as other parts of the country.
It's an integral garage so the rest of the house keeps it warm and dry, just not warm enough to sit and play trains.
