No problems Chris

Thought it a bit strange if they were missing.
The cold air up North could have an effect I suppose.
Maybe time to consider a Mac, ideal for us ageing surfers

I still wonder about using some occupancy detection for a small amount of automatic train control so I had a go to see if iTrain would work with my setup this evening, but no luck.

My controller is the ZTC511 which uses XpressNet, so I thought it might work with the iTrain interface set to Lenz, especially as it does work with the RR&Co 5.4 software I have, with Lenz selected as the interface (ZTC is not an option in 5.4).

The panel said that it was connected, but I couldn't get any communication with the ZTC. I wanted to see if I could get both the ZTC and the HSI-88 working together as they won't with RR&Co 5.4. (They do with Silver and Gold where I can actually select ZTC as an interface, but I have decided that at least for the moment, I can't justify spending out on Silver or Gold.)

Looks like I will have to stick with what I have for now.

That's unfortunate Geoff.

There has never been a request for a ZTC interface and I doubt if it will ever will be included considering the company history and the system getting a bit long in the tooth software wise. Shame really because the actual ergonomics of the control unit are very good.
