How much throw/switch movement with these jobs.

:) Hi all,

I have to get some slow motion point motors.

Thinking Richard,s Colbalts.

Now anyone know how much travel the motor allows with the tie bar.

I have some tricky copper clad curved points which need a little extra throw so wheels can clear the switch blades.

OO gauge, Bachman loco,s plus loco kits to be built.

regards,

Derek.

In my experience Derek, you get more than enough throw.  Throw can be adjusted too if required.  Thinking of Tortoise but Cobalt should be similar, the drive motor is continuously powered and stalls against the stop in either direction.

Many thanks John,
Its good to know one can adjust the little beasts.
I must confess I am not looking forward to getting under the baseboards.
The old arthritis has crept into by spine amongest other places! O well we must suffer for our art?

Derek.
