protection/Warning detonator

Hi All.      Have any members considered the derailment ( accident scenario ) of another model on their layout or men working on the line. Okay this is a bit “ far out “ but could be surprising to visitors. No explosives, just an electrical sound from a Decoder . Best wishes.  Kevin

Legomanbiffo (Ian Bishop) often includes the triple detonators as one of the higher-numbered function in his sound projects. I discovered it on my Golden Valley Janus diesel on F18 just yesterday, in addition to some of the other sound projects that I already knew had it.

I just tried my 71 with Bif's sound: F18 works the detonators, but note that the loco must be moving to trigger them.

Hi Jeff.  Thank you. Running a class 71 on a four foot plank I would have very careful, I better clear the tools and clamp my baseboards together and lay some lengths of track. And be just as cautious . Best wishes. Kevin

You'll find three detonators on most of my sound projects, steam or diesel, on ZIMO decoders.
