This was the hydraulic pumping station for Nr 1 Dock at Barry Docks. The dock gates and some of the machinery was hydraulically powered. It is now a listed building but looking for a new owner.

It's no good, I really do have to get back into model making again…

Nice brickwork, a tribute to the men who built it. When I made the model below, I had people queuing up on another forum to tell me '…..bricks don't join at a funny angle like that……..'

Whilst there's certainly some interesting brickwork David, one has to ask why they would "list" a building like that when so many, IMHO, more deserving cases are left to rot ………………
