This brick built viaduct is located on the main line north of Wolverhampton. I've included the pictures because it has an interesting splayed base to the one of the arch supports where it crosses the canal and also the partly infilled arch. The infilling seems to have been part of the original structure although it's not immediately obvious as to why. I assume that perhaps there was some weakness in the ground/structure at this point but if anyone knows the answer I'd be interested to hear it. The GWR mainline to Shrewsbury ran through one of the arches.
