1st scene, first pic is stuck down and the second pic joins to this one, this will run along the back of the layout, its more or less the same scene as you go across but it do's join to each other,
These 2 pics are all of the backscene, field with house's in the background,
Next is a farm scene, again a number of pics due to the size of the thing,
Now i have no idea where i should go with them and indeed how to do how Alan said and do a rounded corner :???:. So any ideas lads please, this is my layout to give you an idea, my fuel depot is in the bottom left corner and engine top left corner and the upper level is bottom right, with a possible second one going on the bottom left side,
So any comment's good or bad welcome. Sorry for all the pics by the way .

why don`t you just place the the backscenes round the board and see how they look, swap them about till you are happy with them, remember you can cut them to suit if you need to.
as a starter try the houses near your archway and go from there, maybe put the fields
across the window side, you getting my drift now ?
see only you can really decide how you like them.

When you've done that and are satisfied, prop them up behind / around the layout and take a photo for us to see and comment about, even if you need to get someone to hold a scene in place whilst you do the photo.

Whilst rounded corners are nice a well placed tree can hide right-angled bends in the sky.

With regard to the round corners, all backdrops look better if they are curved, but if you are using photo's then it is a must, all you have to do, to check this out, is take a photo ( maybe from a magazine ) and fold it in half, and then stand back and look, you could hide the crease with a tree, but by having, even only a small curve, will make a huge difference.
