I had one of these lovely models for Christmas, I also have the 122.

On my model of the 121 there is no hole in any of the bogies for the 'Speedometer' to fit into, the hole in the chassis is were it should be but the bogie one is not.
A friend of mine has 3 of these and non of those have the hole either (we are not looking in the wrong place as was suggested by an idiot on another forum). The hole is present on my 122.

I have rectified the problem by drilling a hole in the bogie. Does any one else on this forum own this model and if so is the hole missing from yours?

I have looked on some suppliers web sites and can not see the hole on any of their photos.
