This should be fun, I reckon you need just about as many trees as I do

Tree1;
Tree 2;
The same two trees painted with acrylics;
And this is some of the extra bits of foliage that I'm going to "beef" tree1 up with prior to spreading PVA on the ends of the branches to recieve the clump foliage.
More tomorrow evening!!

Well,I did a rush job on this last night before I went to bed.I didn't put too much PVA on the ends of the tree,and the scatter material is darker and denser than what I usually use. The resultant "test dip" produced this very minimal effect that I quite like.It somehow suggests to me one of those African trees you see pictures of in National Geographic magazines,usually surrounded by Elephants!!
not sure now if I should leave this "as is",or add a bit more greenery.I quite like the fact that its see-through,and you can actually enjoy the shapes between the branches.
Whaddya reckon…leave it alone,or add more???
:hmm

I would humbly suggest that you leave it as is. If you make anymore you will be able to assess the overall appearance of a forest or copse. If not dense enough add some more then. I have made 3 wire-trees so far but not "dressed" them yet. I can't get the pictures posted but will keep trying,
Kind Regards,
Michael Thornberry.

Excellent job - I particularly like the trunk and "structure. I think you've caught it just spot on. (It's at least twice as good as mine but then it should be - it's only half the size………:roll:)

The fingers holding the tree are incredibly realistic, although perhaps a touch overscale for N gauge if you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism :roll:
I also think they're about 2mm to the right of where they should be…………………………..:roll:

You should be on the stage,mate!!(with a rope round yer neck and a trapdoor underneath!:twisted:)
One of these days,I'll visit your shop and move it 2mm to the right!
Petermac,
Stop encouraging him!!!
:It's a no no
Meanwhile,back to the thread,I've realised I still have a weeping willow to do!!:roll::roll::roll:….Oh well,there's always this weekend!
